ADHD CARE
ADHD evaluation and medication management in the Inland Empire
Care with Fady Boules, PMHNP-BC — a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
ADHD isn't a character flaw, a sign of laziness, or a willpower problem—it's a neurodevelopmental difference in how your brain manages attention, executive function, motivation, and follow-through.
If staying focused has been a lifelong, exhausting struggle, or if it has quietly made your career, education, or home life far harder than it needs to be, getting an honest clinical evaluation is the place to start.
CALL (909) 707-6261 →Leave a message — a team member calls back within the hour, or request a callback.
If you are in crisis right now, please don't wait for a callback. Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (free, 24/7), text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line, or go to your nearest emergency room. If someone's life is in immediate danger, call 911.
Too many adults spend years masking their symptoms, working twice as hard just to keep up.
Here in the Inland Empire—whether you visit us in person at our Redlands office or connect via secure telepsychiatry from anywhere in California—we don't just hand out a label. We take the time to figure out what's actually going on, rule out other causes, and build a personalized ADHD treatment and medication plan that actually fits your life.
What it looks like
Is this what you're experiencing?
For many adults, ADHD looks less like stereotypical hyperactivity and more like chronic, daily friction that drains your energy. Does this sound deeply familiar?
- The Follow-Through Gap
- You enthusiastically start ten different projects, but finish none. The follow-through just isn't there, even when the stakes are high and you deeply care about the outcome.
- Deadline Paralysis
- Time doesn't feel real until the last possible minute. Deadlines are the only thing that motivate you, and the run-up is a paralyzing haze of avoidance and guilt, followed by a frantic sprint to the finish line.
- Hijacked Attention
- Your focus has a mind of its own: it locks onto the wrong thing for six hours straight (hyperfocus), but outright refuses to hold the important thing that actually matters.
- Slipping Details
- Small but vital details constantly slip through the cracks—lost keys, double-booked appointments, or the email you meant to send yesterday—no matter how many planners you buy or how hard you try to stay organized.
- Invisible Exhaustion
- The sheer mental effort required to execute "ordinary," everyday tasks leaves you profoundly drained in a way that's incredibly hard to explain to people who don't live it.
If several of these scenarios resonate with you, it's worth taking an honest look. Plenty of other conditions—like severe anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, or burnout—can closely mimic ADHD without being it. A cornerstone of a high-quality psychiatric evaluation is knowing exactly how to untangle your symptoms and tell the difference.
Getting started
How care works
-
Start with a free call
Start with a free 15-minute call. No pressure, no commitment, and no clinical jargon—just a chance to tell me what's going on and hear whether this practice is the right fit for your needs.
-
A thorough first visit
Whether we meet in our Redlands clinic or online via California telehealth, we take our time. We take a careful clinical history, talk deeply through what you're experiencing day-to-day, and systematically rule out the things that can mimic ADHD. You leave with a clear clinical picture and a concrete, actionable plan.
-
Ongoing care that adjusts to you
Treatment isn't a one-and-done prescription. If ADHD medication management is part of the plan, we choose it carefully and meticulously fine-tune it based on exactly how your unique body and brain respond. We check in, we adjust, and we keep working together until you feel capable, clear, and in control.

Common questions
Questions patients ask
Are you a psychiatrist?
No—and it's a fair thing to ask. Your care here is provided by Fady Boules, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor (an MD or DO). A PMHNP is an advanced-practice provider who specializes in mental health—trained and licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications. Different training, same goal: careful, thorough psychiatric care.
Do you accept IEHP or Medi-Cal for ADHD treatment?
Yes—we actively accept both IEHP and Medi-Cal for patients in the Inland Empire and across California. If you are a self-pay patient, care is a straightforward $175 for the initial psychiatric evaluation and $75 for follow-up appointments.
How fast can I be seen?
We know that when you're finally ready for help, you shouldn't have to wait months on a waitlist. Most new patients are scheduled and seen within the same week, either in person at our Redlands office or by secure video appointment anywhere in California.
Can my ADHD assessment and medication management be done by video?
Yes—the comprehensive evaluation and much of your ongoing care can happen seamlessly by telepsychiatry across California. However, certain highly effective ADHD medications come with specific federal and state rules regarding how they can be prescribed via telehealth. During your initial consultation, we will walk you through exactly what guidelines apply to your specific care plan so there are no surprises.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No referral is needed to get started. You can take control of your focus today by starting with a free 15-minute call, or you can request a callback and our office will reach out directly.
